Forming a NGO

Hi everyone... I am Dr Vineet...I have done diploma in diabetology from Kem Hospital and Seth G.S.Medical college Mumbai. This is a two year course after MBBS. During my study I witnessed death of 4 persons (I wont call them patients, because they are like normal persons except that they have deficient function of pancreas making them dependent on insulin for lifetime)of Type1 Diabetis Mellitus for want of insulin..Yearly hundreds of patients are dieing of this disease just for want of insulin. This is one of the area where simple administration of insulin will prevent their death. These  is shame for the country who boasts of 10% growth rate and is world's 4th fastest frowing economy. I am of opinion that almost all of these deaths can be prevented if we unite and help all of them. I am planning to start an NGO for these patients. Under it we will provide them with free insulin. As the organisation grows we will provide them diabetes education, glucometer, strips and free advice. But this can not be done alone. Few motivated persons would suffice. These would include Doctors,Nurses,Dieticians,Persons with disease, their relatives and every one who wishes to be part of this service.I think it wont be a difficult task in a country with tradition of great philanthropists. Lets try to return something to society that has given us everything.
